Why do subpar women think that they are nines and tens?

I should mention that I’m not specifically calling anybody ugly here. There is someone for everyone, and you’re going to “reap” out of your dating options more or less what you “sowed.” Don’t expect somebody in shape for instance, if you are out of shape. Unfortunately, what I see in my general experience is the actual 9s and 10s, meaning women that are not only attractive but are polite and warm, and bonus points if they have some mysterious quality about them, are rare and harder to spot than usual so they get overlooked. The “9 or 10” that’s narcissistic and actually a terrible person puts herself out there more so they are the ones that get noticed & asked out. Especially when men have been treated like shit and they think a woman like that is all they deserve or could score.
Over inflated ego from weak male attention. I.E. cute men that have the looks but don’t have their lustful desires under control yet, and they give sexual attention to girls that don’t deserve it. Now these girls think they are up in that category because they “got” a hot guy at least once in their life for a short moment. Note that they did not “get” him in an actual serious relationship. This is what throws their egos out of whack.
